This is an ad-hoc project I picked up at the end of summer 2020. I'd always wanted a static diving RC submarine, but the kits by Engel were (and still are) VERY nice kits, but also very expensive.
This kit popped up on a closing down sale online, and although it was very expensive, i HAD to have it as it was still cheaper than the Engel kits that I still dribble over.
It's a dynamic dive model which i didn't like at all, so I purchased an Engel dive tank and bouyancy controller whcih i planned to shoe-horn in to the the WTC.
It took a lot of swearing and fettling, but I managed to cram everything in.
Weathering may look OTT in drydock, but in the water it looks bang on.
